Dr. Smith has been invited to speak at The Winter Symposium for the Latest Advances in Facial Plastic Surgery in Vail, Colorado as a faculty member for the 2nd year in a row.

Dr. Smith has recently been appointed to several committees at The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, including: Regulatory and Socioeconomic Affairs; The Specialty Surgery Committee (Vascular Birthmarks); Public Safety; and The Young Physicians Committee.

Dr. Smith sees patients at Nationwide Children's Hospital every third Thursday as part of the Hemangioma and Vascular Malformations Clinic.

Dr. Smith recently lectured to the fourth graders at The Columbus Academy with regards to Fixing Facial Trauma, and How to Prevent It.

Dr. Smith has been appointed to the Health Care Task Force for the Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence.
