Hello, I’m Joy Beitzinger, Practice Manager here at Smith Facial Plastics. I joined Dr. Smith’s practice in 2007, and have enjoyed the hard work and getting to know our fabulous patients over the last decade. It has truly been my pleasure to watch our office evolve into the awesome practice that it is today. In my personal time, I coach 14U fastpitch softball alongside my eldest daughter and share 2 Dobermans with my husband of 25 years. I recently became a Grandmother and am loving every minute of it!
Cosmetic Coordinator, CoolSculpt Technician
Hi, I’m Shannon. I am a Cosmetic Coordinator and a Certified CoolSculpt technician here at Smith Facial Plastics. My training as a Medical Assistant allows me to be flexible in caring for my patients, as I am also able to help you with your insurance claims and precertification needs. I have been a Smith Facial Plastics team member for 3 years. My favorite part of this job is watching our patients leave the office feeling better and more confident about their appearance. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising and walking my dogs. I look forward to coming to work each day with Dr. Smith and the Smith Facial Plastics family.
I bring nearly 25 years of nursing experience to Smith Facial Plastics as an RN. I began my career in Providence, RI specializing in Trauma ICU medical care. Through the years, I have expanded my knowledge base in multiple nursing disciplines across various cultures, including, working in Milan, Italy. In addition to strong technical and analytical skills, I put an emphasis on ensuring a positive patient experience by building a rapport with each individual and creating a calm environment. Over the last several years, I have studied and performed multiple non-surgical aesthetic procedures and am certified in cosmetic injections, laser hair reduction, Microneedling, and most recently CoolSculpting. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and can often be found proudly at the stove leveraging my Italian heritage and creating some culinary flare.
